This post is three days late but I wanted to send a big shout out to jeffstaple and the crew at Staple Design for throwing an awesome bash the other night at the Classic Car Club. The occasion: the 10th anniversary of video game franchise “Gran Turismo.” Can you believe it’s been ten years since the first release of the game?
Jeff and his team feted GT as part of their annual “Downshift Session” event, which brings together music, art and gaming. Drinks were flowing all night while attendees danced and sang along to a performance from Kid Sister, or tested their mettle on GT PlayStation machines set up throughout the room.
It was a perfect night to go out and of course to support Jeff (who’s featured in Issue 3 of the magazine). Plus, it was great seeing a lot of our friends in the crowd, and meeting some new ones as well. Wonder where we’re headed this week…?
